Abdullah Mahmood, LSW, LICDC-GAMB, ICGC-I, OCPS, ICPS, works as an Intake Specialist for Gamfin and also treats disordered gambling as a full-time clinician. He has worked extensively in prevention, treatment, administration, as well as having direct services with clients with mental health concerns, clients with substance use disorder, and clients with disordered gambling. Abdullah attended Columbus State Community College for his associate’s degree, attended The Ohio State University, for his bachelor’s degree in social work, and lastly Cleveland State University for his master’s in social work.

Alexis is a dedicated social work professional with a passion for strengthening communities through systems-level intervention. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Boston University, she is committed to promoting individual, family, and community well-being by reducing barriers and improving access to essential resources.

Ambus understands intimately the unique challenges that people in recovery often face. Nearly 15 years ago, he found himself consumed with a roulette addiction. Today, as an AFC®, he knows that with accountability, intentionality, and consistency, his clients can also find the unique rhythm of their recovery.

Andrea Person is a Care Navigator and Intake Specialist at GamFin, where she connects individuals from diverse backgrounds with tailored resources to support well-being and resilience.

Axton uniquely understands the emotional toll of debt and financial trauma; as a young child, she was the victim of familial identity theft. Axton knows the challenging journey that many face on the road to financial recovery, and wants to help clients regain their footing, one step at a time.

Growing up in a recession, Jessica witnessed its financial and emotional impact on families throughout her community. Today, she uses her deep expertise in financial planning to shepherd those in financial distress to a place of stability and success.

As someone in recovery from a gambling disorder, Jim Huh brings personal experience to his role as an Intake Specialist and SVP, Sales and Customer Success, at GamFin.

Kat is a financial counselor committed to helping individuals rebuild finances, confidence, and peace of mind following gambling-related challenges. With over 15 years of experience in education, business, and financial managment, she offers practical, judgement-free guidance to help clients understand their situation, create realistic plans, and move toward long-term stability. Formerly a Financial and Career Counselor with the U.S. Army TAP in Germany, she is fluent in English and Spanish.

Kayleen is passionate about helping people regain stability when money feels overwhelming. Her goal is to make managing money less stressful and more approachable through practical steps and tools taken together. In her work, Kayleen creates a judgment-free space, approaching every conversation with respect, empathy, and care.

‍Kristen Haflett is an Intake Specialist with GamFin and helps connect clients with a financial counselor and other necessary resources.

Lynn's passion for helping others recover from financial trauma comes from her own personal experiences. At the tender age of 18, her parents saddled her with the family’s farm loans and never paid them back. Today, Lynn uses her unique life experience to help others navigate life’s financial curveballs and avoid the same financial pitfalls she faced.

Martha has always held a secret passion for financial health, and her years as a behavioral health practitioner and researcher provides her with unique insight into how money impacts our wellbeing. Today, as a financial coach, she works to help people build a new, positive relationship with money and achieve their financial goals through an integrative, holistic approach.

Michael is a CFP® and a full-time graduate student pursuing an MS in mental health counseling. Michael lives, works, and breathes at the intersection of mental health and finance, and believes success at these crossroads is critical for human thriving.

Mike Greenwood is passionate about helping people master their finances and believes everyone deserves access to a supportive, judgment-free financial counselor. An Army veteran with over 15 years in the nonprofit sector, he has guided countless service members through major life transitions. Mike specializes in financial education, debt payoff planning, budgeting, family financial health, and couples counseling, creating a clear roadmap for clients to reach their goals.

Oscar learned early on about the importance of making every dollar count, inspiring him on a journey to help others find financial stability. Today, as an AFC®, he helps others find their financial footing and build their future, with specialization in helping military service members.

Shalonda Mitchell, MBA, AFC®, is an Accredited Financial Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience helping individuals, families, and communities build financial stability. With a background in banking and nonprofit leadership, she has supported service members, government employees, business owners, and underserved groups with budgeting, debt, savings, and long-term planning. Her mission is to empower people to reduce stress and take control of their financial future.

Stephanie’s professional journey into financial planning blends her background in social services with a passion for helping people use finance to achieve their life goals. Stephanie focuses on creating trusted relationships based on non-judgmental support, financial education, and a deep understanding of clients’ hopes, dreams, and specific life circumstances.
