We Have Three Options to Support You
Option 1. One-On-One Virtual Financial Counseling
Work with a financial counselor to regain financial stability. In confidential, one-on-one sessions, you'll build a realistic budget and create a plan to manage debt without judgment or pressure.
In partner states, sessions are funded by state government programs and are available at no cost to you.
Not sure if you're eligible? Schedule an intake session, and we'll review your options and next steps.
Every session is virtual, secure, and completely confidential.

Option 2. Virtual Group Sessions
Not ready for a one-on-one session? No problem.
You can join a no-cost group session to listen, learn, and connect with others in a safe space online. There’s no pressure to participate or share. You’re welcome to simply observe and take in information at your own pace.
Group sessions are open to everyone in the U.S. and offer an easy way to get started - whether you're still exploring your options or simply want to learn more about GamFin and financial recovery from gambling.
Option 3. GamFin Guardian App
Financial counseling helps you make a plan. Guardian helps you stick to it.
GamFin Guardian works like fraud alerts, but for gambling-related transactions. Connect your bank and credit card accounts, and Guardian watches for gambling activity and quietly notifies the trusted people you choose, a partner, a family member, a peer, or your counselor.
It's an extra layer of accountability for anyone quitting or cutting back, because financial transparency is essential to keeping recovery on track and rebuilding trust over time.
Bank-level security. You decide who gets notified, and what they see.

Not Sure How Financial Counseling Works?
You Are Not Alone
The American Psychiatric Association recognizes gambling disorder as a real condition: a pattern of repeated betting that continues despite causing serious financial problems and emotional distress in multiple areas of life.
Most importantly, you don't have to face gambling-related financial problems alone. Help is available, and recovery is possible.

The Hidden Cost of Gambling Addiction
According to the National Council on Problem Gambling, adult men with gambling disorder often carry $50,000-$90,000 in hidden gambling debt - financial burdens that families may not discover until it's too late.
Our financial counseling helps families find gambling debt relief and rebuild together.
