GamFin - from 1.0 to 2.0

Last week, we launched GamFin 2.0! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

We’ve been running GamFin since December 2021 for providers affiliated with the North Carolina Problem Gambling Program. (When anyone calls the toll-free Problem Gambling helpline in NC, they are routed to one of these providers for help.)

New Program Partners

Building on the success we saw in North Carolina, we’ve launched version 2.0 of the community with new programs for the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado, the Connecticut State Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and the Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia. We’re very excited to start onboarding mental health therapists and clinicians affiliated with these programs! We’ll be providing them with customized personal finance training, on-demand financial counseling, and other support resources to help them handle all things money-related when working with clients seeking help for gambling addiction.

Open Access

In addition, coinciding with the NCPG conference in Boston this week, we’ve launched open access. All providers working in the PG domain anywhere in the country can request access to join GamFin. We have some exciting community programming slated for the months ahead which will be accessible to all members.Β
